Our client has an immediate opportunity for an Inventory Clerk to join their team.

We are currently looking for a full time Inventory Clerk to join our Warehouse Team.  This role reports directly to the Purchaser and will be responsible for procuring and replenishing commodities, services, supplies, and equipment maintaining parts inventory to ensure critical spare parts are available as needed.  In addition, this position is responsible for:

  • Receiving and distributing all incoming supplies and equipment
  • Working in stockroom/warehouse
  • Restocking deliveries and in coming orders
  • Stocking parts and keeping track of inventory through computer systems – daily visual check of critical parts is necessary
  • Keeping stockroom in order, rearranging stock, cleaning shelves, and keeping stock room neat and cleaned daily
  • Tracking, developing, and maintaining processes for ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Reconciling any discrepancies in inventory data
  • Placing product orders with manufacturers/distributors to fulfill inventory needs
  • Working and collaborating with team members to report stock issues
  • Ensure Shipping/Receiving tasks are completed on a daily basis and stock issues corrected
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Compensation Package includes:

  • $24-27/hr based on experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strict attention to detail and a basic knowledge and understanding of machinery, part, tools, and processes
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Understand the importance of inventory control and accurate counts and the impact on maintenance
  • Kitting/parting out job for maintenance
  • Strong organization skills
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Team player but still motivated to complete tasks independently as required
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Programs and computerized inventory systems
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Must be physically capable of bending, reaching, and lifting maximum of 50lbs.
  • Availability to work a 45 hrs per week, additional time maybe required to ensure inventory is readily available to maintain mill processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Three (3) plus years stockroom/warehouse or parts counter experience
  • Experience in business administration, finance, or analytics would be an asset
