Overview
Our client has an immediate opportunity for Millwrights to join their team.
We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor who has sawmill experience or experience working in a production environment. The Production Supervisor will be directly responsible to provide daily operational shift supervision and coordination to their team. We are looking for an individual with a good work ethic that’s able to both lead and work as part of a team.
Compensation:
• $31.00 per hour – commensurate with experience
• Standard work week – 45-50 hours per week
• Benefits including extended health, vision care and dental care

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Ensure application of Safety standards for production and company operations
• Supervise and direct production shift employees
• Oversee production by maximizing the use of materials, personnel and equipment to meet or exceed production and quality goals
• Work with maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of maintenance equipment
• Identify and recommend changes to improve production procedures, equipment performance and product quality in order to improve overall efficiency
• Ensure that all employees work in accordance with the rules, policies and procedures of the Company
Skills/Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and promote a safe working environment in accordance with our safety policies
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, to communicate with all levels of the organization and adapt quickly to change
• Knowledge of MS Office, and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Apply a positive & optimistic attitude
• Works well under pressure
• Availability for shift work required
Education & Work Experience:
• 3-5 years sawmill/production experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience
